Tracy Moyes | Co-Founder

Tracy has a background in strategy, marketing and tech - and is passionate about the changing nature of work and how this drives business success and innovation. 

Tracy has led a wide range of programmes and initiatives to support and grow innovation and technology ecosystems, including overseeing the design and development of Wellington’s technology and digital hub and ColliderWgtn programme, and the establishment of Auckland’s innovation precinct, GridAKL - a project she led from inception to implementation.

Jonah Merchant | Co-founder

Jonah is a recognised thought leader in initiatives to support business growth and innovation, and the development of startup ecosystems. Cofounder of New Zealand’s largest coworking provider, BizDojo (acquired by global category leader FTSE-250 UK listed IWG Plc in December 2017), and innovation consultancy Collaborators, Jonah brings a strong background and interest in emerging technologies, the future of work, and corporate innovation strategy.

Lachlan Sloan | DIRECTOR Development

Lachlan cofounded Compass offices in 2008 and was instrumental in helping to grow Compass Offices into a leader in the shared space market in Asia, taking the business from one location in Hong Kong to 43 locations across six countries. Prior to Compass Offices, Lachlan had worked in Technology, Recruitment and Venture Capital. Lachlan returned to NZ after exiting Compass Offices and joined BizDojo as Partner and COO.

Anya Merryfield | Head of Communications & Brand

Anya is a seasoned communications and marketing professional who helped shape the story of innovation in Auckland and Wellington as brand and communications manager for BizDojo and the GridAKL innovation precinct. She has a deep understanding and appreciation of New Zealand’s innovation ecosystem, which was further enhanced by working shoulder to shoulder with some of New Zealand's most exciting startups and founders.

Sarin Moddle | Head of Operations & events

Sarin brings a wealth of experience in project management and event production. Her introduction to coworking and innovation came out of a background in community development work and soon moved into operations management where she oversaw the operational and physical expansion of BizDojo. Sarin currently works in production management across New Zealand and Canada, where she remains motivated by the desire to drive efficiency and connect people with the resources they need to do their best work.

Eva Perrone | Associate

With a background in marketing and communications, Eva was most recently Startup Hub Manager for Auckland’s Innovation Precinct, GridAKL. Over this time Eva gained diverse experience through her work within NZ’s innovation ecosystem including programme design/delivery, community building, partnership strategies, operational management, lead generation and managing stakeholder relations.

Eva is the co-director of the Auckland chapter of Startup Grind and has been a member of New Zealand’s TechWeek advisory group for the past three years.

Paula Nightingale | ASSOCIATE

No stranger to the start up world, Paula brings considerable expertise and lessons learned to her role as mentor to creatives and start ups, and as Delivery Manger at PledgeMe. With a background in producing advertising and marketing campaigns across the globe, she is an expert at devising a clear plan with well-defined actions. And with experience gained from her own tech start-up she appreciates how much blood, sweat and tears it takes to make a business a success, from spotting an opportunity to raising capital and taking it to market.
